About CDS Exam-
India’s Tri-Defence Services, are open to those who have graduated from college and passed an admission test known as the Combined Defense Services (CDS). The Indian Armed Forces are available to any Indian citizen who meets the qualifying requirements and additional limitations. CDS is an excellent way to further your career and help the military and the country.
CDS Eligibility Criteria-
Nationality-
✔ The candidates should be citizen of India(COI) or the aspirant should be a subject of either Nepal or Bhutan.
✔ The citizens of Indian origin who have migrated and shifted permanently to India are also eligible. Only the migrated people from these countries are allowed Kenya, Pakistan, Uganda, Burma, Sri Lanka, Zaire, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam, or Malawi.
CDS Educational Qualification-
Officers’ Training Academy and Indian Military Academy | Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree in any field from a recognized university or any other equivalent to apply to India Military Academy (IMA) and Officers’ Training Academy. |
Indian Naval Academy | Aspirants must have a degree in the engineering field from a recognized university/ institution or any other equivalent to apply to the Naval academy. |
Air Force Academy | Aspirants must have a bachelor’s Degree with maths and physics as compulsory subjects or bachelor in engineering field from any university or institute or any other equivalent to apply to air force academy. |
