What is CTET?
CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test which is a national level test for the aspirants wanting to pursue a career in teaching. The exam is conducted by CBSE twice every year.

CTET Exam pattern-
The exam mode is offline with a duration of 150 minutes offered to solve the multiple-choice questions. There are two papers – paper 1 is for the aspirants who want to teach classes from 1-5 and paper 2 offers the credibility to teach students from class 6th to 8th.
1 mark is awarded for every correct answer and there is no negative marking scheme proposed by CBSE. There are 5 sections on paper I and 4 sections on paper II. There is an option to choose the subjects in paper II.
CTET Eligibility criteria-
☑ Candidates should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks from a reputed board.
☑ For elementary stage teachers, candidates should have a 45% aggregate in 10+2 level and a minimum of 50% in their graduation.
☑ Candidates should have undergone the prescribed training program or any reputed teaching courses.
